In-Line Stop-and-Go products are designed to measure all wafers of a production line. The movement of the wafer has to be stopped during the measurement.
These systems classify the samples, and give information to the automation system on the yield. By stopping the production if the quality of stock decreases, waste of expensive treatments can be avoided.
Semilab's inline products also proved as parts of wafers sorters.
